About Us

EPIC Luton (Empowering Parents, Influencing Change in Luton) is the official Parent Carer Forum for the Luton Borough. We are a voluntary and independent group of Luton Parents and Carers whose purpose is to become the bridge between local services and families.

Our aim is to empower parents and carers of children and young people aged 0-25 with additional needs/ special educational needs and/or disability (SEND) within the Luton Borough to ensure services in our area meet the needs of children and young people and their families. We intend to be the collective voice representing all members and all disabilities.

We gather the views of our local families and work in partnership with the local authority, education settings, health providers, and other public and private service providers/organisations to highlight where local services, processes and commissioners are working well, or challenge when changes or improvements need to be made.

EPIC Luton (Empowering Parents, Influencing Change in Luton) is the Department for Education funded and Luton Borough’s recognised Parent Carer Forum. We are parents and carers of children and young people with additional needs/ SEND who want you to join us in making a difference in the Luton Borough and ensure your voice is heard. You can do this in a number of ways which include becoming a Member, Volunteer or Parent Representative.

Membership is free and helps us keep in touch with parents and carers across the Luton Borough. In return we can send you updates and information about what’s happening in our community for children and young people with additional needs/ SEND and their families.
